Are you looking for bank data? For example, how many banks are in Sacramento County. You can go to the FDIC's Institution Directory. Scroll down and click on Find an Institution. Query by name, city, state, etc. Note: This will provide you with bank data for both state and national banks.

If you are looking for the regulator for a financial institution, you can search the DFI Licensee Directory. If you do not find it in our directory, the institution is licensed by another regulator. The most comprehensive resource for searching financial institutions is found at the National Information Center.
