DFI Encourages Licensees to Support Bank on Sacramento
The City of Sacramento and Bank on California are launching Bank on Sacramento, a partnership of local government agencies, financial institutions and community organizations in Sacramento to reach out to area families who don't have bank accounts. DFI encourages licensees with offices in the Sacramento market to take advantage of this valuable opportuninty to contribute to their community. A welcome message from Eloy Villafranca, Director of Bank on California announcing the kickoff meeting follows.

Bank on Sacramento is here! The City of Sacramento has been working with the Governor's Office to bring to fruition the commitment made by Mayor Kevin Johnson at the Bank on California statewide launch. Now it is time for us to assemble our Sacramento coalition partners. We plan to hold two convenings on May 26th; one in the morning for financial institutions, and one in the afternoon for community organizations.
