DFI Issues Cease and Desist Warning to SUN Investment Savings and Loan

A warning to cease and desist from doing business in California without a license from the Commissioner of Financial Institutions was issued SUN Investment Savings and Loan, 1520 McCandless Drive, Milpitas, California 95305.

SUN Investment Savings and Loan is not authorized to transact business in the way or manner of a savings association and is not authorized to transact business under a name which contains any combination of the words “loan” with “savings” (or words of similar import) and indicates that the business is the business of a savings association pursuant to Chapter 2 of Division 2 of the California Financial Code.  All persons who have communicated with SUN Investment Savings and Loan are asked to contact the Department of Financial Institutions, Legal Division, San Francisco, at (415) 263-8541.
