Commissioner Haraf Addresses Consumer Concerns on KQED Radio Program
Commissioner William S. Haraf addressed consumer questions about the state of the financial services industry in the wake of the failure of IndyMac Bank, a federal savings bank, and the foreclosure crisis on the KQED radio program Forum hosted by Michael Krasny on July 17. Joining Commissioner Haraf in the panel discussion were:
- Jim Wilcox, professor in the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley
- Mark Calvey, senior reporter covering banking and finance for the San Francisco Business Times
- Rodney Brown, president and CEO of the California Bankers Association, a state banking trade association
