EFT Instructions now on SCO Web Site
The State Controller's Office (SCO) posted the new Electronic Funds Transfer Information Guide on the SCO website. This information assists holders with Holder Remit Reports due June 1-15, 2008 (December 1-15,2008, for life insurance companies). As a reminder, all payments of unclaimed cash in the amount of $20,000 or more must be made by electronic funds transfer.
An overview of the Holder Remit Report process and remittance guidelines is now available on the SCO website at www.sco.ca.gov.
