Local Agency Security Program
Agents of Depository (financial institutions that accept local agency deposits) are required to report in writing to the Local Agency Security Program any addition, withdrawal, or substitution of pooled securities that secure local agency deposits, in accordance with California Government Code Section 53663 (a).
The Local Agency Security Program was transferred from the State Treasurer's Office to the Department of Financial Institutions effective January 1, 2001.
