California Financial Code
The following chart lists the principal provisions of the Financial Code that apply to each type of financial institution regulated by the Department. Please be advised that the various types of financial institutions may be subject to other laws and regulations. For example, commercial banks, savings associations, and industrial loan companies are subject to Division 1.5 (commencing with Section 4800) of the Financial Code, relating to sales, mergers and conversions.
