DFI Requests Information on Southern California Fire Impact
The Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) would like to thank and acknowledge those institutions that responded to our request for information about branch offices that were closed due to the fire emergency in Southern California. Please continue to provide information regarding branch offices; including offices reported closed that have since reopened.
Institutions that have not yet reported their closed branch offices should do so at this time; please provide the name, location, date of closure and date of reopening (if applicable) for offices closed due to the fire emergency. It is NOT necessary to report on the closure of loan production offices or agents and branches of agents of money transmitters.
DFI requests that institutions affected by the fire emergency in Southern California provide information about certain measures they took in response to these events.
- What was the impact of the fire emergency on cash services at your institution?
- Did your institution make use of mobile units?
Respond to licensing@dfi.ca.gov. Questions or comments should be directed to Patrick Carroll at (415) 263-8559 or by email at pcarroll@dfi.ca.gov.
